Our machines come with our operators, so you get the digging done, not just the digger. From our Waihi and Thames yards we transport the gear to your site across the Bay of Plenty, Coromandel and Waikato, from Tauranga and Katikati through to Morrinsville, Cambridge and Hamilton, and get straight to work.

The go-anywhere machine. Our bobcats handle levelling and grading in tight access, backfilling, spreading metal and topsoil, section tidy-ups and site cleanups, in spaces a big digger cannot work.
Tell us the job and the access, we quote machine, operator and travel up front, and the work is done to level. As a guide, most bobcat work runs at $120 to $150 + GST per hour with the operator included.
Excavator hire

From mini diggers for trenching, footings and drainage through to heavy excavators for bulk digs, driveways and farm work. GPS machine control is available when the levels have to match a design.
Same deal: one quote covering machine, operator and travel, sized to the job. As a guide, operated excavator work runs from $140 to $180 + GST per hour depending on machine size.
Wet hire vs dry hire
Machine, or job done?
Looking at dry hire? A rental digger makes sense if you have the tickets and the time. If you want the hole dug rather than the machine parked, operated hire usually works out faster and often cheaper.
